Registry Finder can be downloaded for free, and it is a standalone offline installation for Windows. It’s just an easy registry editor. Its basic RegEdit system features are sufficient for the majority of straightforward use cases.
An overview of Registry Finder
With Registry Finder, you can alter values as binary data or as their raw data type (string, multi-string, DWORD), as well as create, delete, and rename keys and values in the local registry. It is acceptable to have several Registry windows open. Registry Finder will reopen those windows on the duplicate keys the next time you launch it.
The Find function operates quickly and effectively. A list of every item discovered appears in a separate window. A single match with the search criteria is shown by each line. The key name, value name, or value data icon indicates the location of the match. The text that matches is indicated in red.
You can quickly and easily swap out one or all instances of one string with another by using the Replace feature. Only the objects in the Find Results window are replaced. You can select specific items or all of them in the Replace dialog box. The window’s contents are updated following the replacement. An item stays on the list even if the search parameters no longer apply to it.
