Developers creating batch files for TCC-RT (runtime) or CMD.EXE are the target audience for CMDebug. CMDebug’s integrated graphical integrated development environment (IDE) lets you write and debug batch scripts. A powerful debugger with single stepping, breakpoints, syntax coloring, tooltips, bookmarks, tabbed variables, and watch windows is included in CMDebug along with tabbed edit windows. Programming Windows batch files has never been easier or more capable.
CMDebug can be used to create batch files (.BAT or.CMD) that are compatible with CMD or scripts (.BTM) that are compatible with TCC-RT. The full set of TCC-RT commands is provided by CMDebug if you use the “TCC Syntax” option. CMDebug will optimize CMD compatibility and deactivate internal commands, variables, and functions that are exclusive to TCC if you use the “CMD Syntax” option.
Certain internal CMD / TCC instructions will alter their display output to more closely resemble CMD’s behavior, or they will function slightly differently.With CMDebug and TCC-RT, you may use the TCC command language to build (and encrypt) scripts, which you can then distribute on an infinite number of target devices using the free TCC-RT runtime.
