Get the most recent version of UltraSearch for Windows for free. It is a standalone offline installation. It makes it simple to locate files and directories on local NTFS devices.
An overview of UltraSearch
Within seconds, this application locates files and folders on local NTFS devices and returns the findings. Instead of keeping an index on your hard drive, it works directly with the Master File Table (MFT) of the NTFS partitions to increase speed.
It can even recognize hard links in NTFS. While you continue typing, enter a file name or a pattern, such as *.exe, to view the first results. Furthermore, regular expressions are supported by UltraSearch.
For each file on the list, it will display extra details such as the size of the file and its creation, modification, and access dates. Naturally, UltraSearch has access to the Explorer context menu.
Additionally, it allows you to use an exclude filter to exclude specific files, folders, or file types from searches. The search results can be printed, exported as text, RTF, HTML, CSV, and Excel files, and sorted based on various parameters.
