Sante PACS Server Overview
At a reasonable cost, great performance and dependability can be obtained using a DICOM 3.0 compliant PACS server, a Modality Worklist server, an HTTP (web) server for DICOM files, and a CD/DVD Burning and Printing server.
All DICOM modalities—CT, MR, US, CR, NM, XA, MG, DX, and so on—are connected by it. The system’s integrated, feature-rich DICOM viewer, Sante PACS Viewer, can be used to examine the DICOM images. For DICOM files, the integrated web server may function as a free cloud server!
Transitioning from an outdated PACS system to a Sante PACS Server is made easier with the Migration tool. Being an external program, it operates apart from the Sante PACS Server and doesn’t put undue strain on it. It is useful for inserting any folder containing DICOM files into the database at any moment, for example, from an external hard drive or a USB memory stick. It is not just for migration activities.
In addition to keeping studies on disk, the Sante PACS Server may automatically submit studies to robotic disk publisher equipment made by PRIMERA and EPSON for label printing and CD/DVD burning. Additionally supported are manual burning and printing, as well as basic CD/DVD writers.
